Privacy Policy

Gaman does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, no server and no analytics. The app makes no network requests of its own.

What stays on your phone

Everything the app records is written to storage on your device, shared only between Gaman and its own extensions:

• The apps you chose to block, held by iOS as opaque tokens. Gaman cannot read which apps they are, and neither can we.
• The times you hit the wall, and what you answered.
• The stock and crypto symbols you typed in yourself.
• Your onboarding answers, and the settings you chose.

None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Screen Time

Gaman uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity) to place a wall in front of the apps you select. Apple's framework is what does the blocking; your selection is stored by iOS in a form that hides the identity of the apps from the developer.

Notifications

Gaman may post a notification to your own device after you answer at the wall. Notifications are generated locally. Nothing is sent through a push server.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. Gaman asks Apple whether a subscription is active and receives yes or no. We never see your name, your Apple Account, or your payment details.

Children

Gaman is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it.
